WHAT ARE THE MODELS OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT?

A team has to take a project from different stages towards completion. So it requires a lot of model. Some of the important models are present here. One can apply all such models using Key technologies in Research and development projects. As information and technology has become an important part of everything. It is very important to know the basic concepts like project, life cycle, and life cycle models to go into the details of project models. Some of the most important models include spiral life cycle model, construction model, water fall model, incremental model and prototype model.

A Project is an organized set of activities aimed at accomplishing a specific non routine or low volume task such as building an e commence website. According to another definition a project is a transitory effort designed to achieve a specific set of goals. A project Life Cycle is nothing but phases to that accompany the transformation of an idea or a concept into a product or a system. A Specific Life Cycle model is a set of stages or phases through which a family of projects goes in which each phase may be performed sequentially or concurrently. There are different Types of life cycle models. Spiral life cycle model has a repetitive development in which a project goes through the same phases several time each becoming more complete closer to final product. The features of Spiral cycle model include Low risk and Satisfaction. Morris invented the Construction model  it. It has four important stages. They include Feasibility, Planning and Design, Production and Turnover and startup. In Water fall model each phase is completed before initiation of next phase. This model is good for IT projects. In Incremental release model in the start an imperfect model is developed after some time a final version is there. It is special case of spiral model. In Prototype model they develop rudimentary functions related to user interface first after that they develop a final model. In research an development different stages of a model go hand in hand.

In a nut shell, Planning and development of a project requires different models. Some of the important are present here. It is very important to tell that prototype model is the best one in IT industry and people like this model in long run.
