WHAT ARE THE PHASES OF PROJECT SCREENING AND SELECTION?

 A project has to pass through different stages to get to its final stage of the project. One the the most important stage lies in its screening and selection. Project screening has to pass through a full flow chart in this regard. This flowchart is present here below.

According to Shtub Bard Normally it has four major stages. They include screening, evaluation, prioritizing, and portfolio analysis. In Screening people present different ideas for a project. For this purpose they also generate request for proposal. Then they collect data for that proposal. If the experts find that the data is sufficient then they pursue the idea and they lead it towards evaluation. On the other hand they can either abandon the idea or ask for backlog the idea and in this case they can also face some kind of delay.In Evaluation they want to pursue the idea then they develop project proposal and pursue the idea for the next stage. On the contrary, they either abandon the idea or ask for amplification of proposal. In Prioritizing they want to pursue the idea then they ask to review the proposal and assign priority and resources to them.  They can also abandon the idea at the stage of reviewing the proposal. In Portfolio analysis they want to take the project in the next stage then they develop the portfolio and review it too. Moreover they approve it too and initiate the effort. On the other hand if they do not approve it then they can ask for assign priorities, assign resources and review portfolio stage. Similarly, they can also ask for update cycle if they do not approve the idea. In this scenario they ask for backlog the idea, develop project proposal, assign priorities, and assign resources. In the case they want to make an item urgently then they generate idea they can also take it to develop project proposal and review all proposals too.
